Shelly Ginter is the president and a founding member of the Gifts with Grace Board of Directors. As a successful business professional, Shelly has a desire to create actions that help others pursue their personal and professional success. She is a new resident to Logan County and hails from Miami County, where she was born and raised. She is compassionate towards those that are placed in her day by God and believes everyone should take the time to notice when such opportunities arise.
Shelly spent 26 years in the banking industry developing commercial relationships for large regional banks. She coached 9 sales associates in 5 mid-west states and was
responsible for retaining and growing a $42 million book of business. Shelly assisted with reviewing and implementing complex treasury management relationships while providing on-site training of products, services and compliance requirements. She collaborated with senior bankers to meet regional and divisional goals. Shelly also helped to develop sales associates with prospecting and cross-selling techniques for them to achieve their sales success.
Although “semi” retired, Shelly currently works as a consultant with a local community bank providing business development services.
A graduate of Piqua High School, Shelly earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Urbana University. She is also certified treasury professional through The Association for Financial Professionals.
Shelly was a charter member and past chairwoman for P.O.W.E.R., a women’s initiative group of the Shelby County United Way that develops financial resources, unites in service and advocates for programs that benefit children and their families. She is also an active member of her church.
Shelly has a passion for life and enjoys camping, boating, hiking, crafting and reading. She is married to her husband, Gary, and is blessed with a growing family and an ornery Frenchie named Doby.
