Ashley Spence, director of client affairs, joined Gifts with Grace shortly after its inception. She has a heart for helping people when they need it most, walking alongside them every step of the way. Ashley grew up in Crawford County, but found her stay in Logan County, after marrying her husband, Kyle.
Ashley is a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio with a background in community resource case management, child welfare system/foster care and adoptions, and medical social work. This well-rounded, experiential viewpoint helps her understand the needs of the women participating in the Gifts with Grace ministry. With her knowledge and community connections, Ashley is able to link those served with necessary resources to achieve their goals.
Ashley currently serves as the resource coordinator with United Way of Logan County, primarily facilitating the Live United@ Work Employee Financial Wellness Program. In her role, she helps employees of local businesses navigate community resources and assists them with reaching their financial goals.
Ashley graduated from Wynford High School and attained a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Social Work from Bluffton University in 2010.
A community connector, Ashley helped launch Women United, a United Way network of women leaders who are focused on building stronger communities. She also attends Rushsylvania Church of Christ.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Kameron and Leah.
